One of the reasons why the Trax stands out in a crowded market is that it has a very competitive starting price. The reality is that many of our Goleta customers have to pay attention to the pricing structure of various models as they shop, and the Trax is going to be an attractive model from a financial standpoint.
What's New For 2021?
For 2021, Chevy has made minor changes to this SUV. It has taken away the Premier trim as a choice, leaving only the LS and LT trims. The higher-end features that previously came with the Premier have been made available in other ways. There's now an available Premium Seat Package that gives the Trax synthetic leather upholstery with heated front seats, and there's an available Convenience Package that includes things like keyless entry, push-button start, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
Attractive Features
The LS and LT are both available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. They run on 1.4-liter turbo engines and come standard with electronic stability control. Both trims have seven-inch touchscreens with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and a Wi-Fi hotspot is available. The LT has been upgraded with remote start for convenience, and it has cloth and leatherette upholstery. It's also available with blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. A rear vision camera is standard in both trims. Inside the Trax's cabin, there is a maximum cargo capacity of 48.4 cubic feet. This is a good amount of room that should be sufficient for many.
